Dave,

I would like to sum up the topic about traffic controllers.
The mails from begin of May, where it was stated that official
traffic controllers were needed (3 in totalĀ (2 at roundabout, 1
at entrance of the 'speelpark de Swaan')) are obsolete, correct?

Instead we need the same amount 'evenementenverkeersbegeleiders'
during day -1, 0 and 1, correct?

Just one for these days at at entrance of the 'speelpark de
Swaan' to hold the WHY traffic that enter there (and let pass the
local traffic)

People on roundabout is no longer needed (there will be signs
there, that should be enough). Once on terrein the parking crew
can help the cars to their location.
Team parking has meanwhile 3 members, but they are all German and
frankly speaking, we will need them on the parking area to manage
angels and coordinate stuff.

So no-one to spare then. Right.

I could ask them, of course. A practical question how long should
a shift maximum be, we have 3 days to cover.
2 options :

1) Own WHY volunteers :

Officially you should also do an exam, I captured all the text
and could (google) translate this to english. The exam itself is
only in Dutch, not so hard but will take 1-2 hours. You have to do
this in advance of the event itself, don't know if its on time if
you do it on the spot.

2) General volunteers via site

In NL they have a site where a organisation can ask volunteers
evenementverkeersregelaars, I already have entered my request
there but sofar no responses. There should be pool around 50
persons that are volunteers in this area.

Both is arranged via site https://www.verkeersregelaarsexamen.nl/
- I could add you there as a coordinator, but site is all in
Dutch.

Right now is the challenge to find volunteers, if possible WHY
volunteers. If we would like to have someone at the Wagenweg for
an, e.g. a day, how long should a shift maximum be? What do you
use for parking, any maximum shift times?

O one extra phalange, I agreed to do this only when the event
haven't started, so say till 7 aug. Then I will be on terrain but
busy with other things like a demoscene and HSNL village. I was
hoping you could do this (at least the coordination on the days
itself) but now I hava the impression you already to busy with
parking.

Regards,
