Dear SHA volunteer,

It's been 3 weeks since SHA2017 took place, and two after the last people left the site. It was awesome! An event like SHA2017 wouldn't have been possible without many hours of volunteering. With this e-mail we would like to thank you again for your excellent work. Thank you!

In this e-mail we would also like to introduce Ann Barcomb. She has been in the community for a number of years (parking angels may have met her at SHA) and is currently doing a PhD on volunteer management. We are working with her to produce a study of volunteer participation in SHA, both to benefit our organization in future events, and to further academic understanding of volunteer engagement.
