Hi Folks,

Greetz from BarnCamp https://hacktionlab.org/BarnCamp_2017 !

here FYI&E:

Safe Spaces policy

Hacktionlab events are events for everyone. This means it is a space
free from negative actions and behaviour where everyone can can feel
welcomed and respected.

Hacktionlab events are spaces free of oppressive behaviour,
aggression, discriminatory language, exclusion and marginalisation.

This includes but is not limited to: race, gender, sexuality, age,
ability, religion etc.

If you see people acting contrary to the above, challenge them, (or
talk to someone you trust if you don't want to do it on your own). If
you act contrary to the above, expect to be challenged, which might mean
being asked to leave.

Respect people’s physical and emotional boundaries. Respect
peoples’s opinions, beliefs and differing points of view. This includes
allowing others to finish speaking before you speak.

Be responsible for your own actions and safety and the safety of
those around you. Get help if you need it.

Be aware of the influence of alcohol and other drugs on yourself and
others, and limit your use if you know, or you've ever been told that
you become disruptive, disrespectful, boorish, aggressive or violent
under their influence.

If concerns should arise they should be they should be dealt with
collectively. If you have experienced negative behaviour then speak to
others.

Together we can help maintain a positive space for all.

Cheers & best wishes,
p+2D!
