The biggest pollutant is the travelling the people make to get to Zeewolde, once you have a longer trip than 25 km one way, you use more Diesel than the Generators for all days of the camp. Including heating water for showers. 

Maybe we should optimize things that are not so hard and expensive to optimize further.
