>build up mch and their village even earlier than day -2.
Of course people were planning on doing that, and the message is now: don't.
It's great that people want to help, and it's really wonderful that people are taking their young hackers to MCH2022. But buildup is a special thing, and as indicated before: quite unsafe.
>The kids will be near the parents tent in the respective village with
>caretaking parents/ villagers nearby.
That was supposed to be the case last time too. Reality worked out differently, near-accidents happened. Nobody got hurt but let's never try our luck like that again.
Camping at a construction site is weird, camping *with kids* at a construction site is just a very bad idea.
>Is there any option to rephrase the rule that kids taken directly care by
>their parents or responsible villagers in their village are fine even <12 and
>earlier than day -2.
Access for village buildup starts on day -1, according to https://wiki.mch2022.org/Team:Villages
For some specific villages, earlier access can sometimes be arranged. The only village during buildup is buildup village ;)
But apart from the timeline issue, and that I don't believe that the kids will indeed remain at their tents all day every day, it's just not much better if kids get killed or mutilated for life (and forklift drivers traumatized) in a village compared to elsewhere on the field.
As for "it's the parents' responsibility" - it is *primarily* the guardian's responsibility, but not just theirs. The actual responsibility is shared by a lot of people, who each individually need to take care not to harm them.
