Hi all,
when I first joined this community, I was amazed at the true feeling of community, a nerddom I didn't know existed.
MCH showed me an amazing world that I didn't expect to find, so many cool people, cool projects, so much hackery!
after that I joined revspace, first as participant, later as boardmember. I wanted to help our community thrive, i wanted to spread and share this feelings of nerdistry.
Bornhack, eth0, CCC, they all had people with their own niche hobbies, and people who connected with them. truly wonderful to see.
I became a teamlead of warehouse because I wanted to give a new generation of hackers the same kind of experience as I had.
Many of the people I met during MCH, I now call my friends.
Instead of the feeling I had during MCH, and during the events I have been to since, I found during WHY that those friends are the ones that get overworked, both mentally and physically drained or worse, and overall don't find the enjoyment during this "hacker" event that they should have.
"hacker" in quotes, because it seems more like a typical lowlands or other big and loud event for people who can stare blankly at a computer never understanding or wanting to understand how such technology works.
This is not the event I, or my friends were wanting to make. Out of a duty we kept going.
This is a sign-off from Team Warehouse. After seeing multiple people suffer a breakdown and seeing part of PL completely fail their duties, I stand to protect my team. - my friends.
Warehouse will be closed tomorrow, unless another solution is reached which does not involve my team. (I will discuss this with PL)
if so, here are instructions:
Anything taken and not returned will bring great hinder to all other teams. something we had to think of up until now, so you didn't have to. place tools back where they were, keep the warehouse clean.
There is a laptop on the desk, which is used to register tools. Anything with an aztec code can be borrowed, everything else can not, with the exception of the 'grabbelkast' directly on the left of the entrance which can be used and (if needed) not returned.
If you want to take something out, scan the object, then your angel badge. look at the screen to make sure it's registered correctly.
if you want to return something, scan the object, and then the '@lhq-returns' aztec code on the bottom right of the screen. look at the screen to make sure it's registered correctly.
For any and all questions or remarks please visit me directly. I'll still be on the field. Please do not contact any of the members of my team about this.
With kind regards,
CH23
Teamlead Warehouse
