Other points:

I did not know about upscaling before reading the mailing list. I have also missed the vogon poetry line in the meeting notes. Now I see this line. It does not ask for input.


"Should we do $thing overall?" and "Can we have your input?" can also be a clear question from PL directed to the community making this event happen, instead of "Today we inform you". Can't do this too often, but can't also just skip doing it altogether because it would be Bad.

Last but not least: 

Thanks Rob for looking into sending out posters and stickers to the community. There is value in it that goes beyond ticket sales.
