Thomas

Too bad you were not able to come yesterday. I would have liked it to
just talk thru what the options are and what would work best for all
involved.

The good news is that the situation developed as of our last mail
exchange. Friday night I had a sync call with Lukas from badge, it turns
out that the badge will be packaged in a protective cover.

This means that we decided yesterday that we would not put the badge
into the welcome package. It simplifies the whole entrance situation by
a lot I think. As there will be no more handout of badge at the entrance
gate.

It does mean team:badge now needs to prepare to handout in the badge
tent.

I’m not sure if you realize, but I am not part of team:badge, I am part
of team:info. I stepped in to help coordinate everything around the
sweatshop of welcome package and badge, as I am one of three fulltime
members of the Orga working since July 1st.

We ended up making 22 boxes of welcome packages yesterday and they are
ready to be shipped to the field on the 4th of August together with the
badge that will hopefully assembled this coming weekend.

I hope this helps you plan the entrance, feel free to contact me anytime
if you have any questions for me.

Warm regards,
