[Entertainment] Afturmath live performance at WHY 2025 (referred by Dimitri Modderman)

Hi Erik,

Dimitri Modderman asked me to email you regarding playing live as
Afturmath at WHY 2025. He mentioned that you checked out one of my past
performances on YouTube, and I would be honored to play something similar,
with or without laser graphics.

I would like to understand the terms of the performance to determine the
feasibility for this. I can play a 60 or 90 minute set depending on the
desire and available time slot. I have attached my artist rider for your
team to review the technical and logistical conditions. Regarding the
accommodation terms on my rider, I understand this is a camping-oriented
festival and have no problem bringing my own small tent if space allows.

Because of my fixed costs for a rental car and consumables as well as the
risk of hauling around €35.000 of equipment, unfortunately I cannot offer
this performance as a volunteer. My usual rate for a performance of 90
minutes is €1500, but I am willing to play for WHY for €1000 (or I'm happy
to discuss budget constraints). I will volunteer with Area42 helping
Dimitri with flames and lasers. I can also volunteer up to 4 of my own
(high-power) lasers to reinforce the mainstage or for a second
installation. I have been a professional laserist for over 10 years and
perform regularly in Amsterdam as Dam Lasers.

If this is in the realm of possibility, please let me know what steps we
need to take to move forward. As a lifetime maker (electronics,
woodworking, systems engineering) and hacker (IoT and FOSS enthusiast and
former professional cybersecurity engineer/architect for 15 years), I would
really love to be able to perform at this truly special event.
