Hello,
We’re currently finalising the paper booklet that visitors will receive
when they arrive at WHY2025. This booklet includes key information about
what is (and isn’t) allowed on site, tips on how to get the most out of the
event, and how we can all contribute to making WHY2025 fun and safe for
everyone.
Due to a new format the space available will be limited. So we're focusing
on the most essential info and will refer readers to the
wiki/website/info-for-newbies for anything more in-depth. Below you'll find
the text we would like to propose for your team. Please supply the missing
information. Feel free to edit, update or re-write the text. But if
possible, try to keep it around the same amount of characters. If there’s
something else you feel must be added, let us know and we’ll see how we can
fit it in.
We might need to include some safety information. Can you supply a short
text for when/how parents/guardians are responsible for their kids? And
maybe something about kids who want to volunteer? This will be added to
other sections in the booklet.

*Family villageThere are well over 250 young hackers and makers present at
WHY2025. Most of them are staying at the Family Village, a child-friendly
part of the campsite that organises all kinds of activities for youngsters.
You can find more about the Family Village and their programme at

Some pointers:
- Space is very tight, so shorter is better.
- Please respond by 1 June. If we don't receive a new text, we will use
the proposed text instead.
- You can send us a complete text, a few bullet points, a one-liner.
Whatever gets your message across.
- If you include any links, make sure they’re as short/easy as possible.
- We might make minor textual edits for clarity or layout purposes.
If you want your team phone number on the important numbers list in the
booklet, please let us know which number to include.
Any questions? Feel free to contact us!
Thanks!
Marjolijn (Team:info)
