[why2025-terrain] Team Waste - location of containers

Hi Team:Terrain,

Hope you're all doing well! We were asked to send some of our
information/questions to you by email, so here they are:

== Bulky waste containers ==
We have three big containers (6m x 2.5m, 30m3) for bulky waste. These
containers should be accessible on the road so they can be easily be
delivered and picked up by our supplier. Ideally, they are spread out
over the camping terrain and put somewhere on a hard surface.
We want to discourage people from just leaving their bulky waste on the
camping grounds when they leave, because then the volunteers have to
more work cleaning up. If we spread the big containers across the
terrain to minimize the distance someone has to walk to throw their
couch/chairs/tent/bricks/etc into the trash, we hope to reduce the
amount of unnecessary work that has to be done by volunteers during
teardown.
We don't have a strong preference on the exact locations of these
containers, but we were thinking somewhere along the main road that
splits the terrain in half. Curious about what you think about this, and
whether you have a good suggestion for location these big containers.

== Trash compactors ==
We also have two trash compactors/perscontainers. I don't have the exact
dimensions for this, but similar models are about 8m x 2.5m. These also
have to be accessible by road and be put on a hard surface or rijplaten.
Additionally, they need a bit of space around them so we can easily
unload the trash from our on-site trash pickup vehicle + trailer, and so
we can safely turn the vehicle (no clue what its turning radius is).
I've encircled our desired locations for the two trash compactors on the
map in the attachment. Let us know what you think of it!

== Dates ==
In our current planning, we want to deliver everything on 01-08 (day
-6), pickup the trash compactors on 14-08 (day 7), and pickup the
containers on 15-08 (day 8). This means that both the containers and the
trash compactors will be there from early buildup until late teardown.
They will likely be refreshed by the trash handling company during the
event as well, so they have to remain accessible by road throughout the
whole event. If this causes problems, please let us know!
