Hola Aloha,
Didn't know these thinfs were called gators!
LOL
I'm writing from my temporary residence as dog-sitter in a house with pool overlooking the greens (& waters) of Tiara Melaka Golf Club (& Country House) in Malaysia. & I just spotted a varan swimming in the aforesaid waters, btw, which made me very happy.
Now 'Tiara Melaka' has an incredible number of 'gators'(over 150 I reckon) ferrying seriously rich members from hole to hole around its extremely extended terrain. And I thought that golf was good for walking! I am myself walking the dogs in the green after 6pm (before that is Verboten) & being of the type that bites the hand that feeds him, I hope Daisy & Cesar shit the place under so as to spoil the fine-leathered white shoes of some of the less sympathetic members (like the two who refused me a lift from the gate to the Club House while I was loaded with shopping). They'd of course seen me thru as a pauper making use of the maddeningly sparse and inefficient local public buses, which, as we know ever since the days of Margaret baroness Thatcher, are for losers.
Wishing you all a 'Gute Rutsch' into 2025, and good luck with the 'gators'!
p+2D!

Hi teams!
Lots of you have gators or golf carts on your budget sheet. They are
helpful tools, but also a expense. I was hoping to get a planning from
those who need them for the days they need them.
Some teams will need them full time during buildup for material
transport (t<day 1) and teardown (t>day 5), where others need it, for
example, exclusively during the event in the mornings (t=days 1-5)
There is a plan to have a taxi-gators, for when a team needs a short
trip or delivery.
By having this information about gator usage now, it might be possible
to reduce the overall need for golfcarts.
It is also possible to get 'bakfietsen', they are less damaging to the
terrain, don't have refill hassle, move people efficiently in busy
areas, and can be driven without driving licence.
Could you send me your gater usage plans?
Kind regards,
Boekenwuurm
