Hi Lukas,

I did not find mailing list for your team on the wiki - or your recent message on our mailing list, so correct me if I did not get all of it right. Please forward this to your team.

It appears that we have a miscommunication - I understood we have now have some orders and Badge would like: scanner(s), possibility for double scanning, different entrance lane for e-waste (something discovered recently to cover up badge shortage) creating yet more chaos and confusion, age restrictions for who gets a badge and, I quote, "this has to be put into entrance handout procedure".

Badge shortage is only one issue but makes the whole Entrance unnecessary complex with more demands piling up. Please do not come up with it alone without including the Entrance team in decision making.

It will be pretty chaotic at the entrance and angels have a lot to remember and a lot on their plate letting visitors, suppliers and speakers in and checking IDs for alcohol. We are running Entrance with a skeleton orga crew.

This in mind, since you want the scanners - please give them out with any rules you like at the badge tent.
